Common Questions

These cover the most common support requests for Loom.

How does Loom onboarding work?
Loom onboarding starts with identity and direction, then moves into life structure and execution. The app’s onboarding copy frames the flow as: start with who you are, balance what matters most, turn plans into action, create daily momentum, and then use LoomAI for your next best move. In practice, that means Purpose first, then Fulfillment Areas, then the planning and little-win systems Loom uses to keep momentum going.
How do I set up Purpose?
In Loom, Set Your Purpose is for stable values, principles, and high-level direction, not just long-term goals. The setup flow moves through Set Your Purpose, Vision, Passions, Summary, and insight cards. Use Vision for the life direction you want to build over time, then add passions across Love, Vow, Thrill, and Hate. The app also expects at least two items in each passions bucket so Loom has enough signal to work with.
How do I set up Fulfillment Areas?
Start by choosing the 3-7 areas of life you need to improve consistently. From there Loom walks through mission, identity, focus, daily little wins, resources, and passions for each area. Loom uses those fulfillment areas as a stable map so tasks, goals, and little wins stay tied to long-term direction. If your setup is not perfect yet, that is fine: the app explicitly notes that fulfillment areas can be revised anytime.
I cannot sign in.
Loom supports Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in. Make sure you are using the same provider you originally used. If the issue continues, update the app, verify your network connection, and then use Account > Give App Feedback or email spencer@loomlife.us if you cannot get into the app.
My subscription or premium access is missing.
Open the Loom paywall and use Restore Purchases. Purchases and renewals are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store, so restoring purchases is the first thing to try.
Notifications, camera, photos, or Apple Health are not working.
Loom uses optional iPhone permissions for local notifications, camera access, importing photos for attachments, saving images to Photos, and Apple Health integrations. Check the relevant permission in iOS Settings, then reopen the app and try again.
What common fixes should I try first?
Start with the basics: close and reopen Loom, update to the latest App Store version, check your network connection, and make sure you are using the same sign-in provider you used before. If the issue is subscription-related, reopen the paywall and try Restore Purchases again.
How do I send feedback or report a bug?
In Loom, open Account > Give App Feedback. That is the primary contact path for app issues. If you cannot access Loom, email spencer@loomlife.us.
Why do Purpose or Fulfillment suggestions feel generic?
Loom’s setup flows use your personalization and onboarding context to make suggestions more specific. In Purpose setup, the app notes that suggestions are less personalized until you complete Account > Personalization. If suggestions are still weak, add more concrete setup detail before retrying.

Privacy Choices

Use these paths to manage permissions, account deletion, subscription handling, and privacy-related support.

Inside the app

  • Open Account > Delete Account to delete your Loom account and remove local app data from this device.
  • Open Account > Give App Feedback for privacy questions, bug reports, subscription questions, or account help.
  • Optional permissions such as Health, Reminders, Camera, Photos, and Notifications can be revoked anytime in iOS Settings.

Important notes

  • Deleting your Loom account does not cancel Apple subscriptions. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account Settings.
  • Health and Reminders data used by Loom stay on device and in Apple frameworks unless you separately share them elsewhere.
  • Link preview cards use Apple system preview services and locally cached preview data. Loom does not send your links to Loom-managed servers to create those previews.
